Busy As A Bee!

I'm not even sure where to start - we've been a busy family this summer! Back in June we went to Austin to visit my good friend Tracey and her family in their beautiful home. Our kids are very close in age so everyone had a great time. It was my first long distance car ride alone with the boys...that was an adventure in itself! July brought my birthday...the big 3-0! To celebrate, my best friends Julie and Sarah took me on a girls weekend to Fredericksberg. We stayed in the cutest cottage and pampered ourselves silly. Heath and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary on July 20th! We celebrated in a low-key kind of way with dinner and a little shopping. It's so nice that we have the "grandmas" close by for babysitting the boys. We really enjoy an evening away, just the two of us. We also had the pleasure of having my aunt Marty, Mike, Anne, and Alan come in for a weekend visit. It was "Scrabble Madness" at my house! Such a great time! Last week Heath and I took the kids on our first little family vacation. We went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX. If you have kids - you've got to go! It was such a great time and we loved watching the smiles on Collin and Kyle's face. :) This Saturday (the 15th) Collin will be FOUR years old! He's such a big boy now - he's grown over three inches in just 10 months! Collin weighs in at 38 lbs. And would you believe, Kyle weighs 30 pounds...that's just an 8 lb difference and they are nearly 3 years apart! I'm blessed to have growing healthy boys! Life is good and we are blessed!

Summer time is here!! Collin just finished his first year of pre-school - and we're already enjoying our summer. He starts swim lessons next week, a new adventure! I also celebrated Mothers Day with all my boys...they made the day extra nice for me, thank you Heath! :) Kyle is getting to be very big and mobile, not yet walking but he can definitely 'hold his own'. And Collin is really excited to have him around to play with. I've found a new joy as a mom, and my heart dances at the sound of my two boys playing and laughing with eachother! Brothers are the best!!

Celebrate Good Times...!!!

April was a huge month for the Hardy bunch. Heath's 33rd birthday was on the 14th, and I swear he get's better looking with age. (How do men do that!?!) We also celebrated a beautiful Easter with all of our family, Collin had a blast with his 'multiple' egg hunts...there were eggs hiding everywhere we went for a week it seemed! We also celebrated Kyle's first birthday - it was such a fun day!! I cannot believe our baby is a year old, but like his daddy, he's also getting cuter with age! :)














...and a very big thank you to our auntie julie...the party would not have happened without her help and creativity!!

It's Spring Time!!

The warmer weather has arrived...and I hope it sticks around this time! This is a busy time of year for us, all sorts of fun things are happening this month. Collin had an Easter egg hunt at school with his friends today. We're also working in our yard, something we haven't done much of since moving in. But it's looking great...I'll be sure to add yard photos after this weekend. Hope Ya'll have a Blessed Easter!!
